If we can't find a way to
cooperate with each other . . .

and we just keep on biting
each other in the ass to score
points . . .

we're going to wind up
having just one more food
fight . . .

making a spectacle of
ourselves in front of a
watching world.

At this rate, we'll
just
keep jumping
from cliff to cliff . . .

and we'll only wind up
cooperating in achieving
our mutual destruction.

"And the wind shall say, 'Here lies a decent, Godless people; their only monument the asphalt roads, and a thousand lost golf balls.'"

"The only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation.
-- Bertrand Russell

"Do not hold the delusion that your advancement is accomplished by crushing others."

"The difficulty in dealing with a maze lies not so much in navigating the convolutions to find the exit but in not entering the damn thing in the first place.  Or, at least not yet again."
~   Vera Nazarian
Of course, we could always charge admission for others to watch and laugh at us.  Hey, we could pay off the national debt that way! ~ Abercrombie Papoofnick
"Fanaticism consists of redoubling your efforts
when you have forgotten your aim."

-- George Santayana
"America's greatness has been the greatness of a free people who shared certain moral commitments. Freedom without moral commitment is aimless and promptly self-destructive."
-- John W. Gardner
